A new savings account has been launched that promises customers a 6.3 per cent rate of interest .
Customers will be able to take advantage of the new account from AA Savings online, with a minimum £500 deposit required.
Managing director of AA Financial Services Mark Huggins comments that savings account should concern savers who feel disheartened with poor rates of interest that other institutes may be providing.
"At a time when there is concern about financial stability in some institutions, the AA is offering a secure, well-managed savings account," he remarks.
According to Mr Huggins, moving accounts "has never been easier" and consumers have a growing confidence in financial web transactions.
The group claims that customers will be able to track their transactions online and the service is fully secure.
